Use the right measure
A deposit cap, loss cap and stake cap measure different things. Repeatedly wagering a balance can produce much more turnover than the amount deposited. Read what a tool actually limits and the period it uses.
Keep a wider view
A limit on one account does not include other services. Review the total picture rather than treating each account as a separate allowance. If a boundary becomes a target to reach, or you find yourself increasing it after losses, taking a break and seeking support may be more useful.
Check the tool's scope
A published feature list is not proof that a limit was tested. An editorial test would need to record the setting, effective time, increase rules and actual behaviour without encouraging further play.

- Deposit versus loss
- All accounts together
- Increase and reset rules
- Independent support
