Identify the actual service

Separate casino games from sports wagering, lotteries and social games. An approval for one product does not automatically apply to another. Check the country where the customer is physically located, rather than relying on the language, currency or flag displayed by the site.

Match the records

Record the legal entity in the contract, the website address and any licence identifier. Compare those details with the relevant official record. A similar company name or a certificate for a different domain is not a complete match. Keep the source and the date together.

Recognise the limit of the check

A register entry answers a particular regulatory question. It does not measure support quality, establish solvency or promise that a future withdrawal will be paid. Keep those questions separate in a review and leave a field unconfirmed when the evidence is incomplete.

Quick checklist

  • Identify product and jurisdiction
  • Match company and domain
  • Read the regulator record
  • Keep a dated source
